Hi Everyone, I received an email, from JM Bullion, advertising the coin below. I've bought a couple of 10 ounce coins earlier this year and the most I paid was $219. Silver prices have gone up & down of course but I don't see why there would be such a higher premium that would push the price to over $250!! Anyone have any clues why? I think it has to do with the wildlife series because you can still buy the ten ounce maple from provident for under $200.00 Depending on cash or not even lower.
Looks like your paying a big premium over spot, i like the 10 OZ size as well But stick to bars which in generic form go for around $175 to $180 at current spot Depending on your investment strategy ?
I have a 10oz maple coin (tree of life) on my list to buy, it is well over spot, but not too much more than an RCM bar. Some silver coins I collect because I simply like the design. That grizzly is nice.
Some of those images are amazing that,s for sure havent explored the 10 OZ Coin market as yet but i am sure i will get there sooner rather then later
If I had an unlimited budget then this would be my motto every time!! Lol Unfortunately I have to live within my means so even though I may like a coin I do have to take the price into account.
as always, it,s a good idea to comparison shop, there can be 5 different prices out There for the same thing !
I did check other dealers and they all had prices that were higher than JM. Since I liked the design I went ahead and bought the coin even though it had a high premium. I'm hoping it turns out to be a low mintage coin!! Lol
JM, i have found has some of the best prices, did you do any reseach on the coin before you bought it ?
