Exactly what I did bought five sent all to ngc was sitting good after I sold the first two. Used the profit off of the other two for some nice peace dollars saved the best for me and now am thinking about selling it with other stuff to buy another nice peace dollar. I'm thinking they won't appreciate more than what they did and am now trying to downsize collection.

The quick money was selling them right away....No need to grade, as these sets commanded much in OGP. Today? I know not what a '70 or a '69 goes for. I don't subscribe much to graded coins.....

Should be able to get 700 something for an NGC 70 2011 set, maybe a little more if your are patient or wait for better buying times during the year. If you did the early release labels or the other version probably looking in the 800s. Selling them individually is probably the way to get max value.

There's a solid sales history on eBay supporting the 700 or higher for the 2011 NGC 70 set.

Come on dude. Didn't you buy a 1oz. silver Krugerand for over $50, and a million mintage. That's near triple the mintage of these ASE sets, and nowhere near the beauty of these special finish anniversary issue ASEs. (or even the "bullion" Eagles for that matter) You just can't consider these sets, or even any regular edition proof Eagles as bullion coins although made from silver. At least the rest of "our" world (EARTH) knows this to be true. :astronaut::droid::greyalien: ":bored:"

I bought one....LOL, only buy ASE,S for bullion content seems to be "out of this world on this thread" sorry if that disappoints many of you but it is what it is :(
My ASE,S get very little respect though they do have there own tube, its not
a pretty one like my Silver Rounds get though..LOL

You should be flogged, and made to do the walk of shame in "Kings Landing" for your insolence. :)

    no grading bullion?
What about all the pre-33s, or Half Dollars that are 0.90 silver? Morgan and Silver dollars? At what point does someone differentiate a pure "bullion" coin versus a numismatic coin?

For instance, I consider "bullion" as rounds/bars and non denominated government mintage .. of course I could argue with myself what about the, as example, 2016 Liberty Silver medals? I consider ASEs just a bit above bullion, with some of them actually more collectable than others. Then you have the Proofs, and other variations.

Personally, I haven't seen a "round" that I like. But then I like the Walking liberty Halves which got me into the ASEs. It's all personal preference which is also based upon one's own personal definition of what is what.

Not foolish, just flat stupid. These sets have nothing to do with bullion value. His post don't belong in this thread.

I think my point is well taken, if you want to buy silver ASE,S graded or have them

I've heard of some collectors that have paid millions of dollars over spot for their bullion coins then. :wacky:

Not putting others down in the thread, iam only giving my opinion as we are
all free to do :) if they dont agree with it, that,s fine with me it,s a free country
But dont put someone down that doesnt agree with you !

There is nothing to agree about here, you are just flat out wrong and keep doubling down on it over and over and over. These are collector sets, sold directly to collectors in collector packaging, at collector prices, with collector finishes. I really don't know why you keep arguing

Gradded or not these coins go for many times melt and have since the day they were released and they have pretty much held their value to my surprise.

How's that search for the 2008 ungraded fractional buffalo working out for you?
