Hello all. I have a 1972 D with two known errors. However there seems to be little information out there on these. First, No VDB and no sign that there ever were initials on Obverse. There is also doubling on the number 2 in the date. I only have a 10X mag. so I see no doubling anywhere else but possibly the 7 and that weird line near Abe's face.

As described below; mine has doubling in the upper loop of the 2 which I cannot seem to photograph well. It is also missing the designers initials as is evident in the photo.

    From http://koinpro.tripod.com/ErrorVarietyList.htm
    1972/72 DOUBLED-DIE 1c Variety#11.
This is a brand new variety that is similar to DDO-009 with the doubling over the tail of the 2 of date. It is listed by us as VCR#11/DDO#11 by CONECA as DDO-010 and by Billy Crawford as CDDO-013. There is also doubling inside the upper loop of the 2 and a trace of doubling under the horizontal bar of the 7. Apparently rare! MS63 Red $39.95, MS64/+ Red $55.00

So I should label mine DDO-009? Is there another label for the missing initials?
    THANKS everyone!

You don't have the one you listed, that one was minted in Philly .

Thanks for all the great sites.

Mine looks most like Ricks last photo. The two has obvious doubling under the last loop but not noticeable on the base/tale of the two with my 10X glass. It also has the doubling on the mm. Working on a better camera and a better mag. glass. So what do we call that one in the last photo on the above listing? Any value?
