When that perfect hand comes along and you bet big - and then you take the house

We've all seen Ocean's 11, and we know the scene.

Yesterday was that day for me. A perfect storm so to speak.

-Gold drops off over $50 an ounce in a week - buying opportunity

-Ebay offers bonus bucks - 15% in the "fashion" categories.

-Fine Jewelry is in those categories.

-Several sellers listed absolute - no reserve auctions in the categories with solid gold jewelry. Some scrap, some first quality pieces.

I backed the truck up and won several auctions. After the Ebay Bucks and cash back on the CC, I averaged 74% of melt value, which means I can literally take it to my LCS and get 90% or better on it and have cash with profit in hand before the bill even comes due.

And a big pile of ebay bucks to spend come July.

Opportunity + Preparation = Good Luck!

I've heard of several people getting eBay Bucks offers over the weekend. I didn't get anything. They seem to have all of a sudden just shunned me.
