I havent used em, because I try not to buy online, then again I dont buy gold.I heard they are the best though.
Would you care to elaborate/ I've bought numerous gold and silver coins through APMEX over the years and have not had any issues.

I have purchased from APMEX without problems, and believe they are trustworthy. I always shop around before buying though, as other companies have special offerings also. Look on EBAY for daily deals in bullion, for example. Always check the feedback rating.
I trust APMEX with my LIFE!!! Been years since I get a like on this site. Give me one to satisfy my soul for crying outloud.
Love S.S., and Galactus, THANOS etc...posting good pics of coins, or good contribution to threads will reward you with likes, if that's your thing.
I've bought from Apmex more than any other company and never had a problem. But you should always compare prices because the top 4 or 5 are all pretty much 100% reliable. As others have said, Apmex can be a little expenses on shipping for small orders so it is better to establish platinum membership with them if possible. I have it and all orders are free shipping so I tend to go to them these days for small orders and compare prices for larger orders.
I also buy from them, but also some of the other bullion sellers. One interesting thing to do is compare their prices on eBay to their web site. Sometimes the deals are different and better on eBay because they get locked into an offering on eBay and cannot retract it. This can be especially true with paying by PayPal and shipping.
I have not dealt with Apmex directly. I have purchased from Provident and JM Bullion a lot and Govmint a couple of times. Only problem I had was with Govmint because of their aggressive sales calls and mailers.
I now have what I consider to be three trusted sources and I buy according to their pricing, which varies. APMEX Pinehurst Coin Exchange United States Gold Bureau I have now made multiple purchases from each with positive results.
APMEX periodically runs nice eBay specials on AGEs and gold buffaloes. Unlike their main site, there's no PayPal surcharge. Some other bullion dealers do likewise, but I've never had an APMEX problem.
Interesting. I've had an account with APMEX for many years and so I naturally go directly to their site. I just figured that free shipping from them would be better than buying from EBay, where shipping is added, so I have never actually looked ay their offerings on EBay. Perhaps I should.
Sometimes APMEX, and other big boys, will run specials on EBAY, that are even better than what they have on their own sites. With free shipping.
I recently had bought gold and silver from APMEX, a lot. three of their silver Somali 1 oz. coins were copper/brass colored on one side as if the fake veneer had worn off. they didn't want to discuss it. problem is that they claim every coin is x-ray checked...don't know how they could even do that. anyway, still waiting my refund...we'll see.
