Alot of the Kruggerands in this country have dates of 1979-80. That was when the public wanted the coins.

The public still does, i have about 15 in my collection 79-84 are the most plentiful
and you will see those often, so nothing special about these other then there GOLD
I use the years to match life events my kids are all covered except for my daughter
so i found a 2001 PR70DCAM AGE to fill in the gap also a 1987 PR70DCAM AGE to go with the year i got married ;)

My oldest son was born in 1982 ( Which is a common year )
    the year i graduated H.S 1983 ( the most common )
my second oldest son was born in 1989 ( a tough year )
my youngest son was born in 1991 ( another tough year )
my daughter was born in 2001, which had a total production run of only 11,600
including proofs, wish me luck finding that one..LOL

I don't get the fever . . . Between the tortoise and hare, I'm definitely the one that keeps plodding along steadily, not moving in fits and starts.

I'm not very excited about selling gold right now, and my pricing shows it.

Gold had a good week, let's see if $4,000 was THE bottom or if $3,500 comes into play sometime.

How about buying ? my LCS is always out !! people have been knocking down his door to get some, especially with his pricing structure, way cheaper then anybody by far, he,s not greedy and thats why people come to him when buying GOLD :)

We usually end up at the gold claims :p
But on the rare occasion I buy a bag to get through the summer heat till we get back to the claims.
I watched Mikes Video ( The Gold Vlog ) on YouTube and ordered a bag of gutter gold.o_O

This bag has a guaranteed weight of 2 grams for $279.95 shipped.
That's about $50 over spot on the gold unless I got one of the 1/400 bags that a little bit extra... one of the 400 bags got an extra 3 gram nugget.
It will probably be a few weeks before I get this bag panned out as I have other more pressing things I should be doing.

This is the video I watched and figured I'd try and get a bag.
