A Curated mixture of Coinage Here are a few unique coins from my eclectic collection. Variety is the Spice of Life Post your Unique and Eclectic Coins & Medallions.
There once was a pretty long thread on here related to coins like this. I have picked up some over the years but have recently started pairing that part of my collection down. Here are some that still remain.
Very nice set of Coinage Chris. That 5 piece mosaic tile set of the Apocalypse is very unique. Thanks for posting.
@Chris B this thread made me think of the one you mentioned and after a bit of searching, I found it. For anyone that wants to check that thread out too: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/po...chnologically-advanced-etc-coins-here.301285/
I have a thread on the whole series here: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/kazakhstan-silver-tantalum-space-series.366359/
Ok, please forgive me for asking what everyone else probably already knows, but I'm not that familiar with how aggressive the 1955 doubled die actually was. I don't remember seeing one with this amount doubled, but, please tell me this wasn't an actual 1955 doubled die that they destroyed? Hey, if I don't ask, I don't learn, lol. Thanks very much
I really like "weird" coins. Unfortunately, I don't have any currently in the collection. I used to own a nice selection of modern Polish commemoratives with inlays, different finishes, holgraphs, etc. They were really neat!
