RBOB (Wholesale regular gas) dropped 15 cents today. At one point it was down 25 cents.

 

I have resorted to just putting 20 here 60 there. My budget doesn't allow me to put 90 bucks in the gas tank. I am not one to holler at the prices, especially when it is for a good cause. If things stick with this deal? I think that we all will be seeing a time of prosperity.

 

Future gas prices are like future silver prices. Anyone's guess is as good as the next guys.

 

What's this I hear about a N Dakota Pipeline? I didn't pull up the story. Makes you wonder, well me wonder if there could be a sweet oil refinery in the works. Make the product here and send it all over the world thru trade.

I used to be an energy analyst. I suspect WTI will be coming down into the high-$60's unless global GDP growth accelerates.

If Russian AND Iranian AND Venezuelan oil hits in 2027...look for sub-$50 oil.

 

I expect we'll see prices dropping to new lows shortly before early November.

 

Some things will go up and some things will go down. Hopefully it will be the right things moving in the right direction. And sooner rather than later.

 

Traders have been buying high-strike ($900-$1000) December 2026 Silver call options, creating high open interest at these levels. Silver is around $80 and people are buying $1000 call options.

 

This week PM’s are a yo-yo, up and down. One day it will settle down.

 

People are also buying random memecoins.

People are silly. At least, a significant number are silly.

Low oil prices are good for the global economy. There's NOT a better energy source at the moment, no matter what the delusional hanging wringing enviros would have us believe. Necessity is the mother of all inventions and innovation, and we are nowhere near that breaking point. There is NO reason to believe unnecessary austeric policies are the answer to going back to living in caves without energy and electricity.

 

Interesting observation today, went on a shopping trip in a small town not far from our gulf coastal place. A gold and silver place had a sign out and said they were selling silver for $1 over spot. I almost went in to see if it was fact or fiction.

 

Low oil prices are good for the economy in the short term. In particular, they'll be good for the economy longer than the old rich folks will live, and that includes those in a position to set policy.

 

I can't believe there are options for over 10x the current market price.

Sounds like something created exclusively for the ODTE and Meme Crowds.

 

I definitely would have gone in. i Probably would have bought some junk silver as well.
