I've bought plenty of 70's but if I have multiple issues of the coin or commemorative -- like my National Park series Saint-Gaudens "coins" -- I'm very happy for the 69's.

Many times I see asking prices (and actual prices) being 100% more for the 70's over the 69's.

It's been my limited experience that MS 70's have always brought more where I shop around at, but that's not say If I see a coin (same coin) that's more dollars for a 69 than a 70 raises a flag to me, to investigate further to see why? except for high collectible or rare excluded.

Nobody can spot the difference between a 69 and a 70 with the naked eye.
Friends don't let friends buy ms-70

It depends on the 69. Some have something really annoying that you do not want. Some have a small nick in the rim that can be seen under magnification. Meanwhile some 70s can develop spots down the road in the holder and would not reslab as a 70 so buyer beware.

A loss for us, but likely wiser than our choice to stay...

(Edit: I meant "stay on the Internet", not "stay on CoinTalk", obviously.)

I talk with Chris a couple times per per year. He is doing well. He was thinking about coming back and posting here again but he has to have an email address. Without the internet that's not possible. Maybe someday he will change his mind. I miss the guy.

Another one I haven't seen in years was something like furyfrog? Used to have fun with him on error coins.

Silver was up when I fell asleep. I’m sure it’s still up tonight but who knows about later today.

Oil and Gas prices are more on my mind right now. Not to mention the nice weather ahead.

They really shouldn’t be rising. Ships are being protected in the straight and we are drilling more in the U.S. since this started.

That's not what's reported by NBC News. I for one wouldn't take the chance of going through that strait based on any official's social media post*. Oil prices are rising reflecting the reality of less traffic. Of course, I am thousands of miles away from that spot, so I am open to the possibility that I am being manipulated in some way, but I think we are in a bind right now. We'll just wait and see how this resolves.

*An article from CNBC links to an Iranian website showing an image of an oil tanker on fire after getting struck with a missile. I don't want to link to adversaries here.
