"Trusted by thousands since 2009." I guess that indicates that they're very good at gaining people's CONfidence.
I sold silver to a traveling silver buyer in Charleston back in the Hunt Brothers days. I had no complaints. They paid actual spot and everything weighed correctly. But I doubt I'm selling silver at any price today. Too much political and geopolitical crap on the horizon. Too bad we're not allowed to discuss any of it. IMO, it's 95% of what's driving silver not this pablum about AI centers or car batteries.
Price of silver must be killing Silver Dollar collectors. Unless they're buying a $1,000 VAM. I suppose then another $60 would seem trivial.
I'd keep the Peace dollars because I'm partial to them. I don't collect Morgans. So I'd say to keep the Peace dollars, but it depends what you like.
Yea I have this box set as well I dont know why a company would put crappy Coins in a box set all 1921's
Too difficult to say as I can’t see any mint marks. A mint mark can change a price faster than you can blink.
Take a coin that’s worth $20 each retail and put them in a nice blue felt lined box. Now it’s worth $99.50 a set, all 1921 Morgan Silver Dollars. One from each mint, Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. The last year that Morgan’s were minted for circulation. It’s called hype. You’re no longer selling three coins worth a total of $60, you’re selling a set that’s worth $60 for a profit of $39.50 a set. Not bad if your the seller.
I first thought that rightmost Peace had a 4 as the last digit, but when I try to look closer it looks more like a 3. If it happens to be an 8, it's an automatic keeper - but I bet it's not.
And a couple of years later, when the felt has turned them all a nasty mottled brown or black, it's not the seller's problem.
The Peace Dollar’s: 1922-D Over 15 million minted common 1926 2-7 million minted depends Mint mark all are common dates 1923 7-30 million based on any mint mark all are common dates Or 1928 If a 1928 it’s the key date. If it’s a 1928-S 1.632 million were made Slightly above common but not a semi-key date The Morgan Dollar’s: 1889 Common 1889-CC Over $1,000 1889-O Common 1889-S Not RA red, not common 1921 All mints are common 1882 The O over S has a premium The CC commands a premium 1884 The CC commands a premium
Thanks for demoralizing my Morgan and Peace collection. I have too many commons but a dozen or so CC's GRADED but several high Relief. (1921) Peace
Still have to see those mint marks, though, at least on the Morgans. And possibly sharp enough photos to look for hot VAM pickups?
