I've been using the USA Coin Book market price of ASEs link ya'll gave me to cut down on the amount of brainpower needed to keep up with spot.
They'll probably weasel their way out of their positions, but I don't think long term the train is ever stopping again. This might teach them a valuable life lesson about selling contracts they can't deliver on.
Just came across this article addressing some of the big-bank/massive-short/bailout rumors from the weekend: https://www.disruptionbanking.com/2025/12/29/the-banks-and-the-silver-surge-rumors-vs-reality/ As always, the problem is that people can make up and publish random claims a lot faster than people can verify or disprove them.
Rumors for now but I dont think it's impossible after today's recovery. Banks who are Short Silver are very vulnerable right now. Some of them have been tapping the Repo and not just for end of year tape painting. The numbers are in for that massive smack down. It took 1.4 Billion Oz of Phantom Silver Paper trades to engineer that drop. The alarming part is it recovered within a trading day. I'm thinking some banks may not make it. This is gonna get ugly.
It may require ANOTHER large institutional bank bailout. The question I ask is, who, who will approve it, and why? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Lot's of smoke and mirrors but I will say what is conspiracy theory today is fact six months from now ...we have been on that road for the last five years.
