Currently at $150 a gram, it shouldn't take all that long to pay for a minelab gpx 6000.o_O

Minelab is good but a dowsing rod is free.

I'm familiar with the dowsing rod.
I think the better sets are just under $100.
I can honestly say that I have Not mastered that skill set or art form successfully. :p

Silver dollars currently have a silver melt value over $55. Dealers are taking the risk that silver can also go down in value in addition to making a small profit for their time and effort. So, it doesn’t surprise me if they try to pay 15-20% less than the melt value. Also keep in mind that 90% silver halves, quarters and dimes weight a little less proportionately than silver dollars. So, they currently have a melt value of 52x face value vs 55x for the old dollars. this was a couple of days ago.

I noticed that this week. Dollar for dollar, smaller denominations don't add up to the same weight as silver dollars, dollar for dollar. Goes to show you there was inflation even 60 years ago, like the ever shrinking candy bars.:p

Well, I finally took most of my Silver to the Bank Friday and rented two lock boxes instead of relying on my two safes. The only ones they had left were just big enough for 5 cigar boxes and a few rolls would fit into. I wanted a big one, but they were taken. The price per lock box each was 30.00 for 12 months. I just can't take it out and look at it now...like I do at Home... sometimes.... okay all the time!! HOPEFULLY a big one will become available in January then get the rest of in there for PEACE OF MIND when traveling..
