Thought I read silver was closing in on $80 in overseas market if not at $80 already. I was in the coin shop yesterday thinking about selling a little at $6 back. I joked with the owner about seeing him next week at $80 and add to his inventory. He also sells on whatnot. My vintage silver should kill it on whatnot.
Someone in Arkansas won the $1.817 billion Powerball last night. There's a Merry Christmas they'll never forget.
Sure wish there were a practical way to sell at these prices without giving up at least 15% of spot. Of course, if spot keeps going up at 10%-15% per week...
Probably a group of people from some company. They'll be battling it out now. I'd take the million dollars for 5 numbers.
I've noticed since I've been a frequent flyer on eBay filling my Morgan collection I've started getting a lot of coin related stuff in the mail, unsolicited phone calls from these roadshow snakeoil salesmen about buying from them. I immediately hang up on them. Somebody has sold phone and address lists to these people......I don't know if it's eBay, ANACS, or PCGS, but it aggravates me.
Holy. Crap. Now I really need to sell my next tranche of collection culls. Then I may be finished for the time being.
Certainly better than what I was seeing from money metals. (The only reason I quote them is they're still publishing their buy prices, and I couldn't find any other site that still does. Off to look at Provident now...)
