talking bout the tariffs put on and takem off manipulated the market up and down but he didn't tell his closest family or friends. I have zero Degrees and the American people now I would be one of them for sure!!

Once the US hits Iranian nuke sites gold will hit 4K. That should rattle the "Mafia Regime" in the Kremlin.

I'm not sure that would qualify as insider trading.

There are 2 test to create a condition of ILLEGAL insider trading: material non-public information...and a violation of fiduciary duty.

The SEC has tried to make ALL "insider trading" illegal but it infringes on free speech and business acumen. They have lost some key cases, most notably the DIRKS (1982) case from the early-1970's. I got to meet Ray Dirks from that case about 20 years ago.

Up another $80 on COMEX....blasted through $3,300 easily.

    Just no sellers. :wideyed:

Yeah, I'm feeling increasing FOMO - fear of missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime selling opportunity.

Read today that Indian buying is the driving force behind the recent price movement. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen.

Tarriffs/ War in Ukraine/ slumping Oil/ gas prices (Yippee!)
Chinese economy tanking/ Russia in chaos:D:D:D:D:D plus the fact that the Central Bankers cannot control the metals upward trend anymore. Gold may go much higher, so no one is selling. 5K will be the next barrier.

You did with the coin I recently sold you, and really would have been ahead with my follow-up suggestions, that I followed, acquiring coins at a higher rate, but less than current value pricing.
I guaranteed a "full-purchase-price" buy-back, and I'll be waiting for your coin return, with a full refund!

Buying now would feel like trying to catch a falling knife, but in reverse.

Makes me wonder how dealers feel when folks bring in their gold at this level.

Call me crazy, last thing I would be doing is selling PM for fiat right now.

I don't think that would be the wrong call either. My only issue with that is cash in the bank tends to morph into clothes in my wifes closet that go to Goodwill a year later.

I'm pretty much inured to the price. I sold 4 coins and bought 4 more this weekend. All better dates, of course.

I also have sold several raw Gold coins, discounted ~25% on Craigslist, delivered for cash to past buyers this weekend, buying 2 PCGS replacement (prominent Seller) coins this morning!

I'm always happy to sell PM for fiat if I'm confident that that same fiat will buy more PM later.

I'm short on confidence in either direction right now, though, so the SDB and wallet are both staying closed.

I only collect numismatically rare gold coinage, so AV price does not affect me. Still I was bored this Winter (while unemployed) and weighed my coin collection all 1450 of them. Added up to 812 oz./ gold. Of course a Roman aureus in FDC has 7 g. gold/ but goes for 35KUS or more. I am again back doing yard work......
