Entry #42! I just think that is the contest for me. I always wanted to have a 1899 Silver Eagle Certificate!! Thank You @Randy Abercrombie and @lordmarcovan for doing this. Can you guess the year of this note>>???
I want this lot! Thanks for the opportunity to own such cool coins and a spectacular note, @Randy Abercrombie, @lordmarcovan and Anonymous! Here's one of my favorite strawberry tickets.
Please count me in for this round! All I've got in terms of older paper currency is this ratty torn section of a 1914 $5 bill. So far, my searches for the other half have come up empty. Following suit with something "coin" related (not really a coin, but still kinda neat) is the 5 cent token. I can't find anything about the sandwich shop. How am I supposed to redeem my token if I can't find the shop?
I am all in for this contest, The black Eagle silver certificate has always been a favorite design. I'm hoping that the 4 leaf clovers that were include with my last prize bring me luck on this one. Thank you @Randy Abercrombie and your generous donor. Thank you @lordmarcovan.
Please count me in on this giveaway. Thank you to Rob And Randy for this! All three items are of great interest to me. I’ve been collecting US currency since the early 80’s and I had only one Horse blanket note (1917 1$ IIRC). Unfortunately I can’t share a pic as it was stolen along with the rest of my currency collection back in 1994. Fortunately most of my coin collection was spared. beautiful note there and I love subsidiary coinage!
Nice looking eagle. One that I don't have in my stash. Thanks gentlemen for the great contest. Speaking of eagles, I've known this young man since my new next door neighbor, his mother, attended my wedding 17 years ago. He just recieved his Eagle Scout last month. I gave him an nice MS70 2007 silver eagle for the year he was born for the occasion. Regards.
Enter me please! The vintage black eagle silver certificate is really nice! And the coins are also excellent prizes. Thank you Mister Anonymous for your generous gifts. Here is a photo of another dark colored eagle.
I know next to nothing about paper currency, but isn’t that Black Eagle a $100+ note? Nice prize, regardless! Our donors have really stepped up!
I'd like to enter the drawing for the black eagle and coins. This lot is a truly beautiful example of American currency & coinage. A hearty thank you to our anonymous benefactor, @Randy Abercrombie and @lordmarcovan. Mom left me one large size note. Not in very good condition.
Holy crap, I almost missed this one! Count me in for the Black Eagle and other goodies the anonymous user has posted, I don't have either/or of those coins and the only other paper currency I have is a $20 Confederate note. This would be an amazing addition
I've actually been looking for something of the sort. But wouldn't a Union note from the civil war technically be just a regular United States note from that time period (due to the south splitting?) I haven't done an extensive search but I've tried looking for "civil war Union paper currency before" and to not much avail. I'll have to give it another go
I'd love to enter for this one! My oldest bill is from 1935, if I remember correctly, and a 19th century bill would be awesome. Additionally, a large type bill would be a welcome first for me. I also don't have a nickel 3 cent piece or a half dime in my type set yet! Thanks @lordmarcovan for hosting, and @Randy Abercrombie and his anonymous sponsor for this awesome giveaway!
