Dryer coins will have completely smooth edges? There's not even a trace of one even being on the edge ever.

It could be a Thia Baht. I'd look into that.

It's amazing how those "get rich quick" videos turn gullible folks into dancing around with sugarplums in their head.

There are no circulated quarters that were stuck over a silver 1941 Canadian planchet. As for the proof 1970-S, again I believe it happened intentionally.
No one is going to create a coin like this worth a lot of money and then put it in circulation for someone to find.
Now the mint did used to make coins for other countries (and I don't think Canada)
and if they did accidentally use another countries planchet, it would be blank, not a coin that was already minted 30 years earlier. All of the other countries coins have a different size and weight than US coins. The exceptions being Panama and the Bahamas which were 1-1 with the USD. And even those have made some changes.
The reason is not to have coins with less value be the same size and weight as US coins which could be used in tolls, vending machines etc.
The clad US quarter weighs 5.67g and the 80% silver Canadian quarter weighs 5.83.
Besides there is only 1 known coin of this type and like I said it was done intentionally. Technically it is an illegal coin.

(Emphasis mine). No, you hadn't "answered that." This was your third response to me and this is the first time you mentioned seeing faint lettering on the coin. Read what you wrote prior to this. There was absolutely nothing about why you thought this was struck on a Canadian quarter. No one on here can read your mind. Coin collecting is very specific. If you see something specific about a coin that you think makes it valuable, tell people specifically what you see. Where is it in your images, and what do you think it is. You can't act all mysterioso and expect people to just agree that you found a coin worth a bazillion dollars. It doesn't work that way.

I agree with everyone above. But to answer your question, send it in to ICG - instructions are on their website. These will all come back as damaged, but it could be a lesson.

You say you didn't see any video. Yet you can see, in hand, something on the 100% Washington quarter that doesn't appear in any picture you've posted?

For someone who is 'absolutely new to every bit of this', why would you even scour what is obvious to everyone here, a US quarter with no indication whatsoever of any overstrike on not only a foreign coin, but specifically a Canadian quarter from 1941?

Unless you've seen a video of this exact intentionally created anomaly, how would someone who is absolutely new to every bit of this, know it even existed with such specific detail?

Honestly, the responses posted here on your thread have been exceptional with kindness towards someone who truly seems to be trying very hard to mislead the membership here. I applaud their respect for you. I'm not buying what you're trying to sell.

We've been here before, in 2017.

    And again, in 2018.

And probably other times as well.

    That's why I said:
Because I had an overwhelming sense of déjà vu, not because the current thread author is necessarily one of the same people who's posted before with this strange and overly optimistic fixation that they're going to find a one-off "error" like this in circulation.

Reminds me of the guy who thought he had a Memorial cent that was overstruck on a Flying Eagle cent.
