But 0 kilograms (or grams) would still be $0, if we're trying to read ahead on the form... ;)

Title of thread . . . Gold - Is $1900.00 the New Normal?

    Gold drops to $2593 today . . . who didn't see this coming . . . eventually?

Just noticed a typo on my part . . . $2593 was supposed to be 2493. Still, my perspective remains the same.

Check it again. You've only been wrong once, and that's when you thought you were wrong but weren't. :D

In Wednesday gold was 2505 but it’s up almost $90 since then.

Seriously, do you guys not check the market finance page daily? Gold and silver spot prices are right at the top of the page with the market indices as well as spot oil, if you hold any oil stocks. I just don't talk about it here so as not to jinx it. :p

No. I used to do that and it became so stressful that it lost its fun for me.

With all of our holdings, I can't understand (LOL) how you'd be stressed at the relative appreciation your collection has advanced since you bragged about the significance of your acquisition negotiations.

I spend a significant portion of my day searching for that piece of premier certified 70 Gold treasure that has been passed by more conservative collectors, as yourself!

Well it was back in the early 2000's when I was checking the charts constantly. I was pretty poor back then and was very worried about my PM's. That wasn't fun so I stopped looking except every other week or so.... But these days it isn't quite the worry that it was back then.

I don’t receive newspapers. It’s a waste of money and it’s always the same, very depressing.

Internet news is no different, just a different medium and venue. The same overlords still control it, albeit there are more dissenting voices these days.
