A german dealer had both sitting in inventory. Used acsearch.info to trace them back to prior auctions....too bad I didnt get them from the original source. I love the broad (thin) planchet strikes; diameter is closer to normal taler.

OK - nothing startling but I have had an eye out for one of these at a cheap price for a while. It will go into my "tangent" collection of World silver coins. German East Africa 1 Rupie 1891. Shows signs of an old mount on the edge.

Netherlands, 1667 medal from Amsterdam commemorating the Treaty of Breda. It's large - 70mm diameter, and four times the weight of a crown/taler/8 reales. Ungraded. History nerd details: "The Lion of the Netherlands prowling to right over captured weaponry, with ships sailing behind; below, LEO BATAVUS; in field to left, engraver’s monogram. Rev.
