At the coin shop today found a MURK DIEM BU $20.79. spot $16.75 /$2.50 over and NY tax $1.54. Same pricing as a prospector round. I like the zombucks but would never pay the extra. Happy day another unexpected find.

  4. I just received the latest Zombuck (Slayer), looks a little on the plain side, but I like the Reaper image. I still think the Starving coin is the best looking so far.

  7. This is the best I could do with my camera. The detail is better than the picture shows. Also ordered 100 Coppers for 1.19 each from the bay. Free Shipping. Zombucks Slayed.jpg

Just received my order from them on the 11th and placed the order the 1st. Got a starving liberty and a slaved dollar. Both amazing in detail but getting the starving liberty and seeing it in person made me wish I got more! Also does anyone else notice the reeding on the slayed dollar is different then the others? When comparing it to the feast and starving it is definitely different. it looked much more "machined" and spaced out.

How did you pay? It will make a big difference if you paid by check because they have a 6-10 business day waiting hold on the check before they even begin processing the order.

I like these designs. I'm tempted to get the proof versions.

I am a fan of this series. I started with the second design, and have picked up 3 of the walkers off the bay to complete the rounds. IMO, silver will go up, at some point, even if it is 20 or 30 years from now and think it will surpass the price paid for even the proofs.

I started getting these for my kids to find, once I have passed. Zombie culture has been big in our family since the 90's, and this was right in line, and I think it will put a smile on their face when they finally get them. Originally hoped the kids would start stacking silver, and gave them each a Zombucks round for Xmas the first year, but they haven't shared my interest. Perhaps when they inherit some, it may spark the interest. XD

Anyway, I have read through this thread, and found it informative, but noticed this wasn't shared. It is a collection holder right from Provident for the Zombucks series. It's $24.95. Has a clean look, would have preferred, idk, a splash of zombie green blood, or something. Kind of plain. Especially on the inside. Seems to hold 20 bullion. Guess 10 Silver, 10 Copper...or whatever. Wish they did it more like the coin holders (Whitman?)where there is a space for the obverse, with the details printed. Of course that isn't feasible at the moment because they don't know how much is minted, but with forethought, they could have allowed for a slip tag to be inserted as the information become available. Maybe they will alter the design once the series concludes.

From the image, it doesn't look very sturdy. Anyone have this?

The walker is my favorite, but the starving liberty has some very detailed art. Heidi Wastweet is an amazing artist, sculptor

I know I am way behind the curve here but I got my first 3 Zombucks at the Denver Comic-Con. Now I want to collect all of them.

They were a fun series. I started to collect them, but I abandoned the series. Still have a few pieces. Have fun and enjoy.

Yeah, I will have fun collecting these. I paid some high premiums for them but they look great. I got the Zombie Merc, Peace, and Morgan. The Dealer was out of the Zombie Walker, which is the best one.
