    Cool Coin @chrsmat71

    I recently added a 'bargain bin' variety as well..... Mine was struck during the reign of Cleo VII, but has the Ptolemy obverse bust as a rather worn TET....

    Hmmm, I think I like yours more:sour::D

    NO WAY BARGAIN BIN! I like that one! Besides, when you look at Cleo's at a "good price", you cannot see anything! :D Good job!!!

    Well thanks @Alegandron ....I liked it as well...but i picked it up on one of those Forum auctions and apparently others saw a very worn 'drachm' and I saw a nice Tet struck during the reign of Cleo VII....and it went very cheaply. I like FORUM:), it helps make up for all those coins I probably paid a bit too much for...;)

    Maybe this is where I should post a question: I am going over multiple Ptolemies in my possession, and wondering the following: the Pi-A (ΠΑ) inscription usually means Paphos mint (I am Cypriot by the way and have explored the ancient ruins there.) but in many resource sites including wildwinds there are many Pi-A coins that are labelled as Alexandria mint. How is this possible?

    I picked up a Cleopatra VII a couple months ago... Not quite like Elizabeth Taylor, though...
