Dealing with most of the dealers online, I have to say that most of my transactions were smooth and aboveboard but I have to make one exception. My experience with Gary Rosner over on 3centnickel.com was above and beyond stellar in terms of service and quality of product. I ordered on Saturday and it's here on Monday (Gary's in Ca. and I'm here in NY). Both he and the postal service are worked wonders. Check out his site........:)

Now green, you know the rules. You're only supposed to post when the experience is a disaster. :D

You risk losing your Crusty Curmudgeon membership card with posts like that. (Added the site to my bookmarks)

Most of the online dealers try their best, whether ebay or elsewhere. The competition is strong.

The Postal Service made a mistake and you were the unfortunate victim of things going the right way. I’m sure they realize what happened and are making changes to correct the shipping time. Lol

It's quite late my dear, but I would suggest starting a new thread on what you have and also providing some pictures. Cheers, welcome to the forum, and we all look forward to seeing more of you 'round these parts. :)

Always nice to find someone on eBay that you can trust and enjoy dealing with.

I've read most of the concerns of handling by the USPS. I get my mail in a mailbox on the road. I live about a mile down a dirt road. Every time I get a package, I get a small note telling me that they couldn't deliver my backage because the mailbox was too small for them to put them in. I had a package that was put in the mailbox and it seemed to disappear... no note. Many ebay sellers put their coins in a small box or even an envelope that is padded. It concerned me that there was a possibility someone might be mailbox hunting, so I contacted the Postmistress and she said that I could have the box or packages held at the post office. I would get a note in my box and I made an arrangement to hold all packages and I would pick them up each Friday. Although it is a problem because I live about 15 miles from the post office. The good news is that i've never lost a package.
