Yes Chris, it actually has a halo ( 4 ) for LCD lighting on it . I should be able to get some good images of this proof coin, which to me is the hardest to take images off ..
I think I agree with you. I still use my old Scan-O-Matic on occasion. I had one as a kid years ago and found a replacement a couple of years back. Not just because of the cud. The collector for whom that cud is an added-value feature won't care if the coin is in a slab or not.
