On a serious note: since there are incredibly varying degrees of coin thickness among ancients, I have been measuring diameter (mm), weight (g), and THICKNESS using my calipers. I never see thickness in attributes, yet there are many comments by everyone as to how heavy or thick the coin is... Why is thickness NOT part of the attributes?

Weight is what it's all about my friend ... ancient metal $$$

I get that, I was thinking more of some incredibly thick coins...my older Tets from Athens are THICK. The older versions are not thick. More a curiosity... 3-dimensional attributes...

Well, I know that Princess and chrsmat both have a couple of abnormally über-thick examples ... so you're correct, if your coin is an outlier and it has an abnormally big girth then you should definitely spread the word, my friend!!

All this talk about turtles and thickness made me want to revisit the images of mine and add a photo of it's girth:

Somebody on a CT posted an absolutely smashing turtle a while back. The relief was very high, was sharply struck with almost full detail remaining had some nice purple edge toning and was centered almost perfectly. It was one of the prettiest coins I've ever seen. I was hoping to see it here. Anybody know who had it?

Some of my early RR As are 6mm+ thick. Looking at photos of obv or rev does not always capture the size of the coin! That is why I am adding the 3rd attribute (thickness). Into my database. LOL I contrast that against a siliqua, which reminds me of the impressed foil top of a wine bottle!

You have described AncientJoe's Aegina stater (see this CoinTalk post):

His website, Colosseo Collection, is populated with similarly spectacular and historic coins complemented by great writeups.

Hey, I was just playing with my stater and noticed that it too has some spectacular toning! Guess I didn't have the light quite right in the original images.

wow, my sea-turtle is sandwiched between two pretty sweet lookin' tortoises (is tortoise the plural?)

    ... anyway ...

yah, my humble turtle feels a bit randy having those two sweet examples nestled-up against him ... mmm, that's the one!!
