I've been thinking the same thing for a couple of years. In fact, you can probably see a comment that I made about the Chickasaw puck earlier in this thread. It seems to be the "bastard stepchild" in this series.

  4. It has the 4th lowest mintage in the series of all the sold out P pucks (less than 2,000 separate it from Hawaii). The design is not fantastic but not awful either. It seems like the only thing holding it back is that it was minted in 2011 and not 2012. TC

Love the Blue Ridge. How's the grade look in hand?

The dogwood flowers in the foreground coupled with the winding road through the tunnel give it a great depth of field -- a well conceived and rendered composition.

Thanks for the great Blue Ridge pictures, McBlzr. That gets my vote for the best puck design of 2015.

With the release of the Blue Ridge Parkway puck, I thought it was a good time to update the table and chart. The lower silver prices don't seem to be having much impact on the price of the collector pucks. The Chickasaw puck seems to be gaining some respect but the lower mintage Chaco Culture is still out of vogue. Hawaii is still king with Acadia his queen.

Here is the latest update on the Pucks. The last five pucks are still on sale at the mint and the interest seems to be waning. Having said that, the overall value of the pucks has increased a little over the past month. Chaco Culture seems to be the real steal in the group with a pretty low mintage but a low market price. Hawaii is still top dog and Acadia top cat.

I bought one puck , I think they are ugly , compared to other bullion coins available , no where close to being of same quality image of the real quarters they represent....I REALLY LIKE THE AUSSIE'S 2OZ 5OZ AND 10OZ COINS , the GREATEST

Really? LOL. I'd say you need glasses. As for non U.S. collectables, eh, I've lost too much on them, as they usually wind up selling for melt.

Same suggestion as the collector ASE's, let's start looking at what one would have to pay for problem free examples, rather than the lowest price, after fees on eBay for most likely problem coins.

I have all 28 collector pucks. It is my favorite offering from the mint in a long while. I find the detail quite good and I like the finish.
