    Hi All,

I have a 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar Proof with the traits of the Accented Hair Proof on the reverse (G with just the clef and broken ray), but the obverse has the normal traits. Is this common? Has anyone seen this before. Is this a known variety?

    Thanks for the board help,

    Andrew

It's known as the 'Transitional Variety', where the reverse die of the AH was used, but not the obverse. There is at least one thread on here that discusses them.
    Neat find.
