Apmex is at it again, 1 ounce pamp bars for $1,194. If you add in rewards that's close to a $1,150 ounce. I had to buy one even though I probably shouldn't have.

What rewards are those? Surely APMEX is listing these in Bullion, which doesn't give eBay Bucks, right?

Speaking of bullion and ebay bucks... I hate when a seller lists a coin in the proper category PLUS bullion, to get more hits. Takes away my free money, dang it.

I hear you on that one. The words silver or gold pretty much sell themselves without having to throw them in the bullion category.

A lot of people miss out on sales, especially when Ebay offers their 10% ebay special. I always buy from Apmex when I have a 10% bucks going. They seem to have figured it out, and they have a lot of non bullion stuff to choose from.

If only I had a %-off coupon, I'd jump on this for sure. It's tempting even now, but I need to keep reminding myself that I'm looking for below-spot opportunities. Yeah, they're few and far between, but they do come occasionally.

Thanks for the info!!!! While I was looking at it a I got an email from ebay for 10% off. What are the odds. It's been months since I got one of those coupons. I bought one for $1094 since the max reward is $100. I did the same with some ASEs last year and made a quick profit. It has now worked twice for me on bullion purchases. No brainer.

Well, APMEX has, as of right now, brought in $2,564,806.20 from this deal. I can't see how they are making any appreciable profit, though.

We are all talking about what a good deal it is on a public forum... Aren't we? That, in itself, is worth something.

And in the meantime I'll thank them and EBAY for the awesome deal.

Who gets these magical 10% coupons? Is it a "volume" thing? Do you need to do a lot of buying, selling, or both?
