Just a note and reminder to read the details... Their offer is a pre-order for 2015 1 oz. silver Britannia coins. It says "Entire order ships free upon arrival of 1 oz. 2015 silver Britannia" They may not have the coins to ship with your order at this time. If you are ordering and expecting timely delivery, you may have to wait a while to receive your entire order. If ordering gifts or need the items in your order soon for some reason, be prepared for potential delay.
Well it's not 2015 yet, so I would say you have at least 42 more days to wait for it... I don't usually buy them, but perhaps there is a product schedule or press release issued by the Royal Mint you could look for online, much the way the US Mint issues these bits of information.
Like China, England doesn't always wait till the calendar year to mint and sell and deliver coins of that dated year. I'm willing to bet they are out by the first week of December.
Thanks. It's close to holidays which is why I warned earlier that if buying for gifts, it could be risky timing for delivery. Heavy parcel shipping volume and uncertain weather or delays otherwise in available supply could push delivery after X-mas holiday period or into the new year. Those just wanting to stack, would have to wait if such a delay and we know some are not so patient.
I bought a total of 4 coins. The Britannia, British year of the sheep, Canadian wolf coin, & 2011 Fiji turtle. Nice to save on shipping costs!! Now just have to wait until December 19th
I only bought one Britannia and one 1780 restrike Thaler (had my eye on it for a while). Don't mind waiting. Rob
I ordered a few this morning. My first Britannias (I avoided them in the past feeling they were over priced). The price seemed ok ($19 & change). No problem waiting for Dec 19 to ship.
Thats a nice bunch. I think that they are out on 06 Dec 14 in UK. I like the nice shiny Britannias (and the Year of Horse/Sheep) but wish that they change their designs more often. Going back to pre 2011 (2010 and back) they were far more exciting with differing designs. You have the Canadian 3/4oz Wolf coming? Its a nice coin but I was surprised how much lighter it feels against a 1oz coin! I know its just a bit lighter but it is noticeable.
I'll have an ounce coin nearby to compare [emoji4] I think the diameter is the same as a silver eagle, right? So that would mean a thinner coin I would imagine
