I agree with the OP 100%...interest rates are heading higher and PMs are heading lower. The question is...How much lower? ...and when? If the Fed short-term rate reaches 3%, silver will have a hard time staying above $10/Oz. However, that may not happen for "a considerable time".

I don't own anything other than uncirculated numismatic silver and never sell...regardless of silver price. However, I did "thin the herd" of my junk silver in early 2011...as silver rose above $40/Oz.

I completely halted any silver purchases until just recently. I'm starting to accumulate again as I find quality, OBW rolls at 25% over spot ($78/dimes and $156/quarters and halves). I get lucky every once in a while.

I really don't know what is going to happen with the price, but it's the perfect money if we have an ebola outbreak because of its antimicrobial properties. There is literally no counterparty risk.

Why are you so judgmental? The way somebody dresses doesn't dictate how intelligent or unintelligent they are.

Got nothing to do with comparing how someone dresses vs intelligence. I'm being specific to one individual, I'm not stereotyping with 'eminem' (LOL...boy, he's still cranking out the hits, huh??). It's his ATTITUDE here. Personally, I don't like, nor appreciate, anyone who feels they have to shove their opinion down others throats, just for the sake of thinking they are right (and I'm quite sure his opinions on metals are from watching Bloomberg or CNBC....just spewing someone else's info, not because he's actually doing any of his own homework).

However, do you think the police are going to profile someone that dresses like someone from the 'hood, or in a suit jacket and slacks??? Like it or not, people ARE judged on how they dress. Let me ask you this....would YOU trust someone dressed like that to valet park your _ _ _ _ (insert model of car here)??? I most certainly wouldn't, even if it was a Ford Pinto. Matter of fact, there are a number of stores (and schools, for that matter) that won't allow individuals dressed like that, inside. Stores' loss prevention have a fear of those dressed like that, as they quite possibly may 'drop stuff' in those baggy clothes (I'll shoot straight here....afraid they'll shoplift). Would you allow your kids to dress like that? Mine certainly did not, and I'd never allow mine when/if the time comes.

You realize you're on a message board, right? EVERYONE is here to toss their opinions around.

Besides - who cares? he's just an anonymous internet poster milking a running gag. Not everything in life should be taken so seriously.

I do realize that. Does 'the homie' realize he is on a COIN COLLECTOR/PRECIOUS METAL forum? This type of self-absorbed attitude might float on other forums as a 'running gag', but we are here to learn, not to be the punch line for a NON STOP running gag. If the OP were to approach this as a learning/teaching tool, and NOT an 'In your face, I told you so' joke site, perhaps he'd garner more respect, and I'd be the FIRST to apologize.

NO other coin forums I belong to has anyone with this poster's attitude (perhaps some, but they don't last long before a bamming is in order). I'd love to see the % of posters here that approve of his antics (seems to be a very appropriate word). There MUST be a forum for those 'I think I know everything, so what I say is gospel, but in reality, I just get my info from a financial channel and repeat everything I hear, without actually doing my own work' posters.

I certainly wouldn't take any advice from someone who's belt is about 2 inches from where the top of his socks are, yet his drawers are about 2 inches lower than his neckline. How many coin show attendees have you seen dressed like that? None (I've never seen any, and I'm in the Northeast), as they'd all get tossed because there's too much room for things to 'accidentally slip inside those secret pockets'.

edited to set the record straight that I am NOT accusing the OP of that, but, as I stated in another post, that is the exact reason 'persons' dressed this way are not allowed in certain stores.

I think Eminem is funny, but I work with teenagers all day, so it really doesn't bother me. I think we might need some new younger folks figuring out about real money and how it works. Plus I am waiting until it pops over $20 so I can say "I told you so home slice".

Eminem has been one of the greatest assets to cointalk in years. Those of us that listened to him, have saved a bunch of money.

Oh, please....'one of the greatest assets'??? I can think of many that have been of a greater asset. If I listened to him, I would have sold silver at 63 cents cheaper....and not for the better.

Now THAT'S my idea of Homey!!! Kinda reminds me of him...same bad attitude, same 'I'm right, you're wrong'.....etc...

We'll see, I did refrain from buying when the price was above $20, but I started to buy a little around $19, then a little at $18 and then last week I bought some more at $17, so my average lately is just a little above $17.

See? Just another example one of 'those', who you CAN judge. I'm sure everyone here thought of taking 'E' as an anti-depressant. Just goes to show you what direction the world or more aptly. Solution is to swallow some 'E'? Yeah, that'll do the trick. Just don't forget what cargo pocket you stuffed that 'E' into. And for GOSH'ssakes, don't mistake it for any other 'substance you have in those clothes

When my 4 year old antagonizes my 5 year old, I always advise her to simply ignore him and he'll lose interest.
