Thanks books. I've been thinking long and hard about how to make my company innovative. I don't have anything worthy of note thus far. You're right they should be tailored to the needs of the customer rather than what I think will work.
That's refreshing to see a thanks to Books , who is one of the many who wants you to succeed . He's one of the people I listen to especially when it comes to dealing coins . But I've heard you say the same thing about changing the description on your Morgans from Gem to maybe MS-60-62 . Also any successful business man will tell you you need to have money to make money as you need inventory that appeals to many . Just as important is the connections to other dealers like Northkorea has mentioned . Really changing isn't saying yes you're right , but making the tough decisions that will help you and your business in the long run.
Referring to another part of your post @BooksB4Coins were you implying that I need to stop selling coins from the dealer that had helped me previously. Is that the best thing to do? if I do it I'd only have the coins I listed that I actually have. I have connections to get 90% and ASE but that's about it.
Back to Gold. I've seen that most sell at premiums of $50 over spot. What is the average price you pay for $50 gold eagles.
In a word... absolutely. At this point I truly believe that you could not move fast enough to distance yourself from this schmuck. Being as you're still basically starting from scratch, there are many other options and possibilities worth considering.
And there's the possibility it's "too soon" to be a dealer. A little more experience, a little more capital, a little less uncertainty...
Note to all. The Morgans have been fixed. lower price and different terminology. I also finally fixed all of the bugs that were occurring throughout the site so that's something to celebrate.
It seems like You have had the same 4 coins for sale for a months. Can we expect some fresh inventory soon?
Yeah you are right kozak. I'll be adding in a 1919 mercury dime when it comes back from NGC and a lot of gold and silver bullion. Maybe.
