I hate to post this twice but someone suggested this is better placed here than where I put it earlier. By the look of the title, I'll be hanging mostly out here so forgive me this time. Just started collecting a few months ago and still very much in build mode and defining exactly what I want to collect. It's all bullion and mostly Eagles and Maples with the odd other Britannia, Perth Mint etc. loving it and enjoying filling gaps in dates with relish. Anyhoo, herewith my pride and joy (so far). The Canadian Wildlife Series.
One of my favorite series. Go for the Britannia. Try for an example of each design like I did. You will get addicted.
I like the idea of Britannia 1oz but previous years sell at too high a premium for me to justify. I just missed a 2011 which was slightly over my price. 2014,2013 and 2012 must have been bigger runs? I think 2012 the design changed. I thought that collecting bullion coins would be narrow enough - but there sure is enough of those each year!
I bought a new 350/8 mpg Camero in March 1973; seven months before the Yom Kippur War. How's that for timing?
Got two rolls of 2014 Libertads, two rolls of Polar Bear Apmex Mintdirect sealed, a roll of 2014 Brits and a 1/10oz 2013 PR70 Libertad today. I will post picts later.
I think that the2014 Libertads are not in Europe until the end of August. They are the same design as before?
I also have this series and the little baby ones as well. Look for the world animal bullion coins like the gilded Caracal. its a beauty
I'm very interested to know but guess all of you who buy complete tubes are buying them as a investment? Is that right or do you split down and sell individually?
I hoard almost never sell. But when I do I will probably break the tubes down and sell them in smaller lots.
