I still think the premiums for PMs are ridiculous. Silver is $19.40 an ounce (as I write this), so even at $457 for 20, that's $22.85 an ounce meaning a "commission" of $3.45 (nearly 18%)!!!! And that's only on the buy side - just wait until you go to sell. You may pay another 18%. So if I buy 20 ounces, I would have to wait for the price to go up 36% just to break even. Fantastic. Can you imagine placing a stock trade for $1,000 and paying a $180 commission? It would be an outrage. I wish I didnt like silver as much as I do. Its like a drug - I know its bad for me but I do it anyway...
