sorry to be a bummer on your amusement, but you misunderstand... people are saying its silly because it doesn't go with the theme, its just kinda forced in...
Agreed. Besides, some of us have other interests than looking at dead presidents all day and actually enjoy the zombie culture. You know, staring at dead non-presidents. It would have been great with just a zombie version of Barber's Liberty. Sent from my GT-P5113 using Tapatalk
If theme is your issue, why wasn't there discontent on the buffalo? I don't recall any zombified buffaloes in any zombie culture references.
Nope. That is a horrible come back. Try again. And there have been two movies as well as a video game released in 2012 that had zombie buffalo, horses and dogs.
Um, the whole reason we are going on about this is because YOU brought it up, we explained our reason and yet you again decided to "squable". Just accept our opinions as just that, our opinions and that we are welcome to share them without having to defend ourselves. And second accept that further insult by saying you are "above" only makes you look like even more of a bully and no one wants to come here for that. This should be a safe place. By the way, the video game industry profits in the billions and much of the technology you are using RIGHT THE MOMENT as you read this and think of yet another terrible come back is the result of a world consumed by accelerated graphic cards and processors. Now, if we can please all be friends, enjoy each others ideas and opinions without trying to compare the size of our... trucks, that would be great. Besides, it is 2014 and i drive a fuel efficient car when I am not riding my bike. Cheers my friend.
I would like to see thn get back to where this started and see a Seated Liberty. Maybe end with Saint-Gaudens. Hopefully they don't feel the need to have the Seated Liberty killed by a chair in it's head.
How did they get them so quickly? My guess is that these are the guys who order the large quanity and end up causing the collectors to have to wait for the second run. Prov is shooting themselves in the foot by selling to the bulk buyers first. Dont you think?
Naw, they are doing a wonderful job of marketing. They lock in the sure thing and the longer wait that is created drives the frenzy even more. If you doubt it, just look at this thread. Many folks, including you, have expressed a dislike for this particular issue. Now, I know folks will say they need the coin because it is a "series", but understand that is part of the marketing also. So the point is, the marketing is so good, they are getting folks, including yourself, to part with your hard earned dollars, for a coin that you don't even LIKE!!! Not only that, you are getting at least mildly ticked, because you can't get a coin you don't like fast enough. Seems to me, this is Madison Ave. at its finest.
If you factor in shipping, I got a better deal on eBay. I also get airtites, but not sure if Provident does that too.
Well, my point was more that they sell to the bulk sellers and then it opens the market to other sellers. They miss out on the sales to those who see the ebay listings. As far as me being "ticked", I am not concerned about having it first. If that were the case, I would buy off ebay. I prefer buying from the source. Nothing against ebay buyers, i shop there often. My question was not as petty as you want to make it out to be and was sincerely about the marketing and questioning why they are okay with missing out on the sales. If anything, maybe after typing this i wonder if they feel any loyalty to their collectors or if it indeed is simply about the money?
