Provident Metals, Did the order go through?

I went on Provident Metals to buy 5 more silver 1 oz bars, went through check out and when I clicked "Place Order" and it just took me back to my cart... Did I do something wrong? By the way, I'm paying with a debit card.

Placed it again and it just took me back to my cart... Went to "My Orders" and this shows up.

 

they may not accept debit cards..

 

They accept credit cards and usually VISA debit cards are accepted as credit cards.

 

e-mail them an ask or call the order in..
the automated system may not recognize a debit card,

I assume you can check your debit card online. I would do so.

 

I checked my bank online and it has not been charged.

 

How will I make sure I didn't place more than one? The order doesn't show up on "My Orders"...

 

They probably don't accept debit cards then. If you look on their website under Policies, they don't mention debit cards as a form of payment.

Last month I ordered silver using VISA Debit Card and it was fine.

 

Do you get the "cash discount" when you use your debit card?

I would just call them on Monday to see what is going on.

 

Online order and Using credit card / debit card does not give you the discount price.

 

What browser are you using? Try a different one. I know sometimes a certain browser won't work (firefox would not work with the US Mint's site for awhile in the past, so I would have to switch to IE when placing an order). You will get a confirmation email if your order went through. If the browser swap does not work, wait until tomorrow. Perhaps server problems on their end.

 

i know if you want to use a debit card at MCM you have to phone in the order because the automated system they use cannot associate a bank to the card so it wont go thru, may be whats happening for you...

 

westcoasting posted the payment policy and it said "Credit Card Online orders $1-$1,500** No" Went on their site to confirm it and it's true... Well that is just disappointing, I've been looking forward to buying those bars for about a week now

Anyone know any sites that have a good selection of silver bars/coins with good prices and low shipping that accept debit/credit card?
