Picked this up off the bay a few days ago and it just arrived today.
Got it in a lot of cull coins for less than half the melt value :)

Finally picked up the 2013 West Point two coin set......as even though I`m not too fond of the same ASE every year....I gotta say that the enhanced is nice.
Other than that set, (which We all know what looks like) not much other than 2014 Eagles and Leafs. The older bullion (pre Hunt Bros) has really dried up. I used to find bars & rounds from the 70s every week....hardly anything now, other than what might be at a show.

i agree it has dried up online. however, at the weekly shows down in SoFla, you can find dealers with TONS of old poured bars. my brother in law had a phase last year where all he bought were odd 5 & 10 oz poured silver bars...lots of JM, Engelhard, etc...it's a good scene down here. i hate florida, but i think with all the retirees concentrated down here we see a larger slice of the numismatic pie. that and all the pawn shops and "buy gold here" shops.

i stopped in a gold shop 2 months ago, and told the guy i will buy any MS70 NGC slabbed eagles or maples for a specific amount over spot - cash - that day - within 2 hours of him calling, and he has called me 2 times. he just wants to flip it as many times as he can, making a bit each time....i think he does really good.

is the one in the clamshell the 20,000 mintage 2014 maple? i love it. my numismatic group gave me ish for buying it, saying it is just a standard maple bullion, but i think it "pops"

Not a bullion but a fancy coins from RCM. It's the newly released 2oz contemporary coin

That's the one. I was attracted to the coin by it's low 20k mintage as well and I was lucky enough to be sold one with a fairly low number. I will be interested to see how they sell as I can understand why a lot of collectors won't find them too interesting compared to some of the other offerings. I like it because it's just a nice, clean proof example of a bullion coin I've always really thought highly of and it was a good souvenir for my visit to Canada.

so funny you mention the low serial number. mine is #15. but i happen to own the lighthouse one with a #9 serial number. thats my lowest.

Wow. I'm impressed with number 15. Mine certainly isn't that low. I don't usually buy fully numismatic silver so I was fairly happy to get a rather unimpressive 854 out of 20,000.

I just picked up 2 sets of these California Missions from The El Dorado Mint. These are RARE, especially to be complete and in the original packaging. There was a maximum mintage of 5000 when these were originally made in 1974 & 1976, but very few were actually minted. Once in awhile you will find a single mission show up on Ebay, but you will not find a complete set.:)
