I had an artist who normally works in bronze cast a small sculpture for my wife in silver. These three "blobs" were left over from the casting.
pretty cool. is that a regular sized marble, or the size of a shooter? trying to figure out the scale. i guess you could just tell us.
picked this set up awhile back . and have no clue as to what the one on the left is . anyone help here thanks.
The top photo is my generic bullion, stored in coinsafe tubes. All of these tubes are full except for one. I always label the tubes with their contents, and on the other side (not shown) I have a label showing the silver weight of that particular style of coin. The bottom photo is my collection of nicer condition and/or proof bullion coins. I keep those in air-tites so I can enjoy handling them and admiring them without worrying about damaging them. I also have a bunch of other coins in various other coinsafe tubes but they aren't silver. I use a silver marker and paint the corners of the tubes that contain silver so I don't get them mixed up with the tubes that contain non-silver coins. I also have a collection (not shown here) of smaller 1 oz. bullion bars of all kinds of different metals including niobium, columbium, copper, nickel, and titanium. No platinum yet, but hope to get one eventually.
Like your stack Adric, Variety is spice. Interesting pieces of the less commonly stacked metals. I hold a little gold and copper but the bulk is silver. Most enjoyable is getting pieces at around spot that have added collector value, I rarely spend extra for collect ability but have made many good scores. Watching the bay for mis attributed items is fun for me, and I have a good idea that I got sniped while trying to snipe on some recent items by fellow members on this forum (A seller of non numis items recently listed a bunch of coins and medals he obtained with sparce descriptions and I missed a few I wanted even when bidding at <2secs remaining, would a Fiber optic connection help? A varied collection leads to pleasant surprises when going thru 'Old Boxes' and rediscovering those forgotten goodies. Silver seems pretty steady at $20 lately, actually kinda boring seeing the same old level. Made some new purchases lately, I'll put em up soon. HH All !!!!
Jeez I cant find that 2005.8 Bridge coin anywhere... I looks rather similar to these 22 gram commems, Please post if you get an ID, Nice silver !!
Can anybody help me out with info on these bars? I know Bunker Hill Company is out of Idaho, but any clue as to when they were made? I see them on ebay from $50 to $100/oz, just not a lot of them. and the 2nd bar
Just received today Got it for less than $10.00 more than I paid for the MS69 in September from A***X.
Hey guys planning like and share my friend's FB Page here's the link. edited Also my newest silver bullion purchase!
Nice pour. From what I gather 'The Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mining and Concentrating Company' shortened their name to 'The Bunker Hill Company' in 1956.
Dude. You are spamming a coin forum on multiple threads about a animal grooming FB page. Stop. edit - please just use the report button, when you quote an offending post you just double the same spam
Thanks for the info. There is good info on the company history, but not much about these bars. I buddy told me that Apmex had one for sale as a Comex deliverable, but I've been unable to find it. I'm also not sure to believe what I've read about those sold on ebay. In the end, it might be a while before I get it figured out to my satisfaction. I really do appreciate the info provided...
