Just ordered my Zombuffs, and still waiting for a shipped notification from my order back on December 23rd. Forgot to include the copper version so hopefully customer service will help me out, especially since ive been waiting for an order for so long. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I467 using Tapatalk
i see provident has zombuffs marked as "stock delayed".....Due to high volume of orders, this product will be delayed with an expected shipping date of January 27th.
My assumption is that even though they took our money, they fulfilled the bigger orders, even if they came in days later.
I called a few days ago about my order which had a couple of Morgue Anne rounds in there and was going to remove the morgue Anne due to the fact i placed the order on Dec 25th,,,the guy on the phone advised me to stay with the order,,,,as it is they have thousands of orders for these..hang in there everyone..by the way i sent a cashiers check,,and the Anne rounds were IN STOCK when i ordered,,,i asked if they were oversold... guess there is a few possibilities
I think the frustration is more that it seems orders placed after some of ours are still waiting, while some seem to have received theirs when ordering days later. And of course I am sure I speak for anyone frustrated that we are happy people got their order and that its simply is the business model to sell items to later orders and skip over the earlier orders. The lesson here may be to wait a week and order from eBay. They are already up and selling. By not ordering from the Prov we also keep their mintage down, right? Anyway, lesson learned.
I'm waiting on the morgue ann rounds I ordered on the 19th...still no shipping numbers and I even paid with credit card...
I ordered a couple of the Buffs the day they went on sale and received them last week. I think the delays are just random.
nope...this is my fifth order If it was a matter of being out of stock on something that they thought they had enough of thats one thing...but I got no notification of that at all...which I would fully expect if that was the case. Plus I would fully expect the orders to be handled in the order they were made stock permitting obviously.
I have ordered before. And I think had others who ordered days after me also got caught up in this, I may feel better. Seeing resellers on eBay selling these for less than I paid with shipping is just disheartening.
Bottom line is that in the future I find it in many of our best interest as collectors to buy from resellers. Not because of being smiteful, but for these reasons. 1) If we buy resale, it keeps the mintage down. 2) Resellers have a better price after shipping. 3) Usually your reseller ships pretty quickly. No waiting on "delayed stock", which is the seller covering their tail for a poor business model. Should we support these companies who produce collectables? Yes, when those companies make it clear they care about collectors and not just high volume sales. End rant.
