That's fine with me. I make videos that I enjoy, and I believe that may help people, and that they will enjoy. It doesn't hurt my feelings.
Your last video didnt help anybody. You accused a honest coin dealer of selling fakes. You put a video out analyzing a real maple leaf, and explaining that it is fake. How does that help?
Pal, I really don't care about you, and im having it xrayed when my friend, who is a coin dealer returns from his vacation
that's an OK vid. the Eagle vs Maple debate will never end I guess, take your pick. due to price I would go for Maples except for the milk spots, you just don't know if you'll get them. in gold it's the Maple for me. a bit cheaper and .9999 so it's better on both fronts.
I just think it's funny how after but in the other video you say one year, you think you have the knowledge to put out these"helpful" videos. I dislike the know-it-all manner I saw in the other two. If you post a video, you have to expect it to be critiqued.
Forgive me, i'm a new member. But why in the hell would someone x-ray a bullion coin. What am i missing here?
Actually, that's old technology. I prefer to subject my coins to a CT scan for better three dimensional imaging of the internal configuration. There's a noticeable difference between the structure of a genuine silver coin and its not so genuine counterpart.
Your missing this disaster http://www.cointalk.com/threads/new-almost-perfect-fake-maples-eagles.240356/
May I also suggest a coinoscopy? It's just a Maple Leaf, pour a drop of acid and you'll know. If you think someone took the time to clad a cheap core into a large chunk of real silver, cut it in half, it will still be worth almost the same if it's real.
Wow, thanks for the link and the heads up about the Maple's. I never bought one in the past because i do not care for the picture of the Queen on it. That and the milk spots, and now fakes!
I think it's offensive to post educational videos to people who all know more about bullion than you do. Could you explain the sound difference on leather again?
