    Sell your bullion?

There are so many threads on when to buy bullion and why. Curious to know when you plan to sell your bullion.

I've been buying a pretty good amount of silver lately. I'll sell when it gets into the high twenty's and start the cycle over again.

Only if I have to. Or when it's time to buy a boat (not enough to help much though)

I would unload a couple tubes worth of ASEs for $40/ea.

Assuming it does. They'll be much more quick to replace the currency if we get to that point. You can't really make comparisons to Zimbabwe or other places with hyperinflation.

I know, but I sold most of my holding when it was 40 plus. It was hard to keep holding when silver was up that much

Yeah, I really thought it would hit $55 before reversing. A false breakout. Lucky for me, I wasn't buying back then. I did buy silver at around $32 but was quick to dump it all a couple of months before prices dropped. I took a small hit but could have been much worse.

As with most of my "investments", I buy for the long run. More people lose than gain trying to time the market in the short run. The small percentage of pm's in my portfolio are held for the possibility of a worst case scenario, that I hope never materializes.

Since I purchase numismatic silver coins and sets for my collection, it is not considered just plain ol' bullion. I have no plans to sell.

If I wanted to play the market, I would own paper pm, not physical. Physical, due to its buy/sell spread is a horrible asset to hold to trade. I buy physical pm due to its low carry costs, as a contra asset, and because I like it. Because of that, I will probable never sell. My sons can do that if they want to.
