I have a seller that I have bought from already and is a good person. He is looking to unload his 16 2000 ASEs for $26 a piece if I buy them all. What is the average selling price that the 2000 ASEs are going for right now, and should I buy them? He is the guy who sold me the 10 OZ Engelhard Big E silver bar for $255 when silver was $22 a ounce.

Send me his info if you decide to not buy, EDIT ~ ANY Buy/Sell/Trade, and this would hold for commission paid on transactions Must be in the Buy/Sell/Trade section

It's a good price, the best you can do from online retailers is $3 over spot or so for eagles and thats if you are buying in quantity, 100+

I know that price is good, the question for me is how good since they are from the year 2000. Whats the price they are going for normally from that year? They are in uncirculated condition.

I don't know if there is any extra premium since they are year 2000. (there may be)

I just checked mintage for that year, and there were 9,133,000 minted.

Where do you buy? 25.50 would be 1.42 over spot right now, that is a good price for eagles.

There's no special premium on 2000 bullion eagles.

With silver closing at $24.08 per oz, $26 each is too cheap for any date ASE right now.

He bought them for way cheaper back in 2000 lol so he is making out from what he told me he originally got them at. He bought them at $6 per coin back then

2000s arent special and although the price is lower than ebay trends, its still only a "fair" deal if you will
