I wanted to buy some non-PVC flips to submit it for grading, should I be buying the 2"x2" or 1.5" x 1.5"?
I don't know about not cheated. Maybe it's taking longer than they thought to process all those returns of inferior coins from the big guys, so they can send them to us. They should be able to give us a shipping date they can meet or at least update it after they miss it. Either way, changes are needed - write your reps.
I see a lot of graded NGC sets on various websites, but it doesn't look like they are selling very well. I thought <300k sets were made. The 70 proof set is about 280. Am I missing something.
Mike, I understand and totally agree. I am probably 1 of the most "grading modern bullion is totally silly" proponents on this board. I thought Drew Carey was saying a 100% increase was a sign of underperformance and lack of interest in the set.
Credit card charged and cancel box gone. Expected ship date of 7/19 is fast approaching! Sure hope the reverse proof golf Indian isn't a fiasco as well
They arrived today and I am quite happy. A quick look over with the loupe and I don't see any problems at all
It came today!!! And after an excruciatingly close examination, mine appears to be perfect! I have no plans to slab them, just leave them in the OGP, but my fears about getting rejected coins has been assuaged. This Enhanced Uncirculated coin may be the most beautiful coin I have ever seen! The mirrors on the devices are proof, while the background field is proof-like. definitely two different treatments. My only suggestion would be to make the fields more mirrored, but as-is, I LOVE this coin!
2013 W Reverse Proof 69 Silver Eagle NGC Blue Label selling on ebay for $72.50 with free shipping. I bought 3 of these RP's because this is a low price for a RP Silver Eagle or am I missing something here. Just a few short years ago you had to pay $180 for the 2006 RP Silver Eagle.
