Would YOU buy a silver dollar for a dollar? How about an unlimited amount? When silver was over $30/oz to boot! How about a double eagle for $20?

No takers for silver dollars at ninety-nine cents each, lol. People are just soooo skeptical.

 

It would be interesting to see this done regionally. Wonder if the results would be different, lets say, from the central plains to the northeast?

But you have to understand... 95% of the population has no idea of the value of precious metals or numismatic items... nor do they care. Of course, the members of CT realize what's going on, but "John Q. Public" hasn't a clue.
