Keep in mind that this number is the total # of sets ordered not the final mintage. The final mintage will take into account canceled orders and other factors that might have affected the mintage.
Sorry Dan. I did get mine and forgot to post pics to this thread. I'm on the tablet now but I will post some pics later.....
Beautiful coin, Ken! Having the coin "in hand" and seeing it in various lights, what's your impressions of the various surface types used?
To me it seems to be 'proof' in the enhanced portions of the coin and uncirculated (burnished) throughout the rest.
It sounds like you're leaning more towards it being a Proof than Unc...which is fine. That just means we need to begin a grass-roots effort to get the TPGs to change their labels.
Depending on where you place your lights and how you angle the coin, you will get that black and white contrast.
So how does it just in hand maybe a video would help they look sweet in thst contrast but id rather it look lile that all tje time
Oh, there is know cut off per say, but I gather you mean for a 'first strike' or an 'early release' designation. In that case the coins have to be in the graders hands within 30 days of their release to the public.
