Is copper bullion a good investment or is it a waste of time? this one seems like a good price (kinda); http://www.providentmetals.com/bull-and-bear-1-oz-999-fine-copper-round.html
Industrial metals are horrible bullion investments, mostly because there's no associated rarity. If you need nickel, buy Canadian 5-cent pieces. They're 99% nickel or something. Titanium's value is primarily in it's ability to withstand abuse coupled with being light. It doesn't make sense to store blocks of it.
But you shouldn't be paying the full value when you buy either. They are ok if you have a lot of space to store them and buy them at reasonable prices. Pre-82 pennies are the best investment right now as far as base metals go in my opinion since you can get them far below melt value. Don't buy the retail crap, .99 per oz is almost $16 per pound, copper is worth about $3.30 a pound right now. I mean if you want to buy a few for the heck of it, ok. But as an investment, no.
i think they look cool and mimic the designs of old coinage but bigger so if you have a favirote type there prolly a copper round for it
If they sold it in 100 pound blocks, maybe. Probably not even then. One ounce rounds? lol no. But yes, it might be worthwhile to sort pennies.
Invest in copper bullion? No way! However, I do buy rounds that I like, but that's solely on a collectible stand point. That being the case, Provident Metals do sell some nice rounds and they're quite cheap. When I order from the site, I usually add a few dollars worth of copper rounds. I really like the Lakota rounds.
Yeah, i do put all the pre-82 pennies aside when i search those. And i might just get a few of the mercury dime one ounce copper rounds to have for collection but now i know not to get the 20 of them i had planned before.
what i meant was like how the ase isent orginal. there was a silver company that was using the walker design as a replica type round. when out of nowhere the mint took the replica design turned it into the ase's and made the silver company stop production . thats why i have the word steal in parentheses
walkers are my favorite design im talking about a walker replica silver round that the goverment made the silver company stop making so the mint could make ase
My favorite design on rounds would be the ASE. my favorite design on the bars would be the Pamp Suisse.
