I don't think you will see much of a drop if the coins have numismatic value. That being said, what are you looking for? BU examples or just for bullion purposes? Provident Metals usually have a decent price if you don't care about the year, but their stock is "delayed" but you can still order.

I'm into them for bullion, but I appreciate their numismatic value somewhat. I don't look for culls, but I like non 1921's in as good as shape as I can get for the price

it just seems like the prices should have come down somewhat by now

Agreed, but the problem is people are still buying them, even more so now than before. So why would they lower the prices? I looked at that link a couple of weeks ago. The prices were similar and they had everything in stock. Now after the drop, they are delayed or sold out.

this might be a case where the LCS is a better deal than the internet. I'll have to go check

Possibly. My LCS raised his pricing from $5.00 over spot to $7.50 over spot for silver bullion ASE's. I didn't inquire about bullion Morgan's but would imagine those went up too.

That's pretty good compared to mine and other stores around me. Being close to NYC doesn't help me. Everything is more expensive.

I wish I could find Peace and Morgans Dollars for $22 each. Local shops are either out or a joke on price.

  14. I agree, they should be down quite a bit. A $20 bill should buy a Morgan at bullion value right now. But as long as the major online establishments sit on them from higher prices and also have people buying them at their current price list, they won't come down. Looks like you may have to do some local searching.

I had to pay $28 for some common morgans. At that price I'm not buying again.

Might as well just wait and buy bars in the meantime.

Some of you guys are so right. The dealers shouldn't pay attention to what the market is paying and sell those for what you guys want to pay. Makes perfect sense...

On the serious side, I spoke with a dealer today that told me non-cull Peace at $25.50 is the going rate and $28 for non-cull Morgans. Culls for a $1 to $1.50 less per coin. He mentioned that lots of 20 were about as small as he'd sell for those prices.

I am curious to why all of the other times silver has dropped you were able to find some within a few days for whatever new price it was. This time around though the prices seem to have not moved at all.

Wow, that's a great price, IMO. Here, they want $28 and above. I bought about 150 at $26, when silver was $35, but that was from someone liquidating their collection.
