Yes! I like that, limitless... The APMEX rounds were my very first silver purchase, they are so clean and brilliant compared to my halves. But I love them all just the same
Last week I grabbed a 2001 ASE in original Littleton packaging and a JM 2nd A round in original sealed plastic that must not be truly air-tight as it has tarnished/toned quite a bit. Yesterday I grabbed a JM Right to Vote Round, 1984 Engelhard Prospector, and 6 Walkers with some toning.
The latest addition to my happy little stackl. Picture didn't turn out that great...but you get the gist.:smile
Darn, I sold this one in February. I get hypnotized when people start waving fifty dollar bills in my face ...
I just sold all $109 of my 90% for $2,315 because I needed/wanted some cash. I was in the 90% for $2,424 so I took a loss of $1 per face but it was worth it to me to rebuild my cash reserves in case I get hit with any more unexpected bills. I picked up an Engelhard poured bar for $320 that I had been wanting with some of the cash and put the other 2k into the safe. Hopefully I can buy back over the summer to replace the lost ounces at lower summer prices and wash out the $109 loss.
Been waiting since late January for my order of a Freedom Girl round, and it finally arrived with a surprise. Those who ordered on the first day were supposed to get a copper Debt & Death round as a bonus. I didn't order on the first day, but they gave me one anyway, perhaps because of the long wait...
A CL ad for a local business that I replied to that buys it to melt down for electrical connectors. The best offer I got from anyone else on CL was 19.25x face and my LCS only pays 19x face. It worked out to 21.24x face and my average cost was 22.24x face. I went a bit overboard on buying silver the past 3 months and realized I need to keep more paper on hand so I consider it a cheap life lesson. While I would like to see silver go up for the 150oz of bullion I am holding I am actually hoping/expecting the price to go down this summer and I should be able to buy back in to more bullion and some 90% for lower prices to wash out the loss and get my DCA down further. Pic of cash + bar from yesterday's deals:
Thanks. My LCS was holding it for me cuz he knew I liked poured bars (my only other poured bar is a newer ST 10oz bar). He had originally told me $330 a couple weeks ago when he got it and told me not to gripe about the premium. When I went in yesterday I asked if he still had it, and said '$320, right?' He said 'I thought I told you $330, but I will take $320'.
