This is the latest addition to my stack. It was a gift for me from my Dad's girlfriend. She lined up for hours to buy this for me since I was born year of the snake. Such a sweet gesture!!! Great high quality packaging, each bar comes in an airtight capsule and was sealed in cello, had to cut them out and place them in the slots. Each bar is .999 pure and weighs 20g each for a total just over 3 troy ounces of silver. Some info on the product. http://www.chinacoin.com/en/shop/snake_378.html
I figured now that people aren't all talking about and buying silver, now is the time to buy. Just made my first purchases today, and I know I'll be back for more! http://Facebook.com/authornathaneharvey
Nathan - Isn't that the Engelhard poured bar that has a very high premium? Does anyone know if there are newer poured bars that look similar and don't sell for a big premium? I'm going to drop by some pawn shops over the weekend. Don't want to get tricked into paying too much in case I find those poured bars.
almost all poured bars carry premium..well at least brand name ones. Some company's make newer poured bars but they also carry hefty premiums. Some of my face are monarch precious metals . They make a one ounce pour that feels and looks great in a stack. Also silver town has newer versions.
You can normally find some pretty crazy bullion in Asia. The art and craftsmanship is amazing but the premiums can be pretty crazy too. The set I have was made by the Shenyang Mint. =D If you are looking for something just as beautiful that is readily available stateside try finding some Pamp Swiss bars. Their Lady Fortuna and Lunar series are stunning and are also individually numbered with assay card. I posted two of my Pamp bars below. I am looking for a box of 25 1oz Lady Fortuna silver bars. =D Would love to add them to my stack but sooooh much $$$$. I am actually considering importing some special bullion to sell maybe. HAHA.
Good old Canadian 80% Junk Silver. I only have $9 FV. Probably won't buy much from now on. The prices up here are hit or miss. I bought the quarters 10% below spot but the Silver dollars were 10% over...
These were back ordered on Gold Mart until 4/8. I was surprised when they showed up today. These are my first JM bars. I think i shall buy more.
I only have 3 JM 1oz bars but they are amazing. I like them because they have serial numbers. Look great in air-tites.
Here's my modest silver stack over the past few months, some bought and some coin roll hunted. I think there's about 60oz of silver total.
Modest or limitless, it doesn't matter. Ya got yourself some and that's what really matters. Really like those APMEX rounds.
