This is a real tough choice but my Absolute favorite was easy. The runners up were a much tougher choice

1st runner up 1/10th Fanam (smallest minted gold coin)

My Favorite and easy to see why... 1890-p VAM 15A Morgan dollar (One of only 26 ever certified)

I like your new favorite. I'm guessing it is from Venice. What is the date & Doge of your new Venitian coin?

 

It is indeed Venice, one of those unmistakable styles that stand out (not unique as much as putting their own spin on a Byzantine style). When I first laid eyes on this coin type I knew I wanted to add it to my collection but I wanted one that wasn't flattened in all the wrong places.

The Doge is Giovanni Soranzo 1312-1328

 

Since the day I purchased it closing in on a decade ago-

That is a gorgeous Barber Half but I can't believe you like it more than your 39-D Mercury Dime. You should post a photo of both so we can compare.
