I have a standing offer for $2.00 over spot on any ASE's to both buy and sell. I don't collect ASE's I just stack them.

I think it would be interesting to take a look at his inventory. I suspect you'd see something similiar to my local dealer who has bullion ASE's priced at $4.50 over spot, and Proof ASE's for around $40-60 over spot.

Based on my experience of trying to sell a few silver proof sets, I don't think my dealer would offer much more than yours.

I just found it interesting that both dealers didn't place any value on PSEs other than as bullion. For slabbed PSEs, I can get 55-70 online but I was hoping to develop a relationship with the local shops.

With box and papers, coa, etc. a major dealer is paying $55 or more. Also Andy Cooper of Upstate Coin is a strong buyer of moderns, also, MCM. Certified silver, gold and platinums are worth less unless you get a 70.

Proof ASEs are worth more than $2 each over spot. At the shops local to me, one can sell these for about 10% behind Greysheet bid, which is significantly more than $2 each over spot.
