People are stocking silver now in droves because they need it for the coming post-apocalypse melt down. Only silver can defend you against the waking Vampires of that time, and there will be more vamps than silver bullets.

I thought it was the werewolves your silver bullets will vanquish. I would expect a major run at Home Depot for stake wood, however...........

right - the price of tent pegs will also go to $80 an ounce.

Well, silver has a longer life than than garlic so it's worth it in the long run.

yes, that is another reason for stocking it.

Hmm, might have to melt some down for silver teeth. Then all you'd have to do is smile at them. Although vampires can't come in unless you invite them, so I'd just stay home anyway.

That is a lie propagated by Hollywood.

Do the bullets have to be solid silver or can they be electroplated tungsten?

I'm not an expert. I defer to Fatima.

I put my faith in God, AK-47, and plenty of long lasting sure fire Wolf ammo.

A quality sword and knife are also handy.

Never hurts to give the kids a .22

And more important, what caliber do you need and should they be FMJ or hollow point for vampires?

An army of kids with .22's would be an asset.

For rifles, I would go hollow point on the undead and FMJ for all else. To be prepared, I would alternate the types of rounds in the magazine.

Here in NJ we can't have hollow points so I'd better get some tent pegs.

    I believe an M16 is a 22

Essentially yes (.223), but a lot more powder than your .22 LR.

I don't know. This might be one of those cases where you are better off is a cross bow.

    Won't work on vampires.

    Blaubart Melt Value = 4.50

Maybe not, but it works on people who think they're vampires.
