I thought I found this extremely rare variety a couple years ago and made a post about it, that I am now cringing while reading! Less than 2 years later, I have come to redeem my name! After a LUCKY trip to my local Taco Bell, the cashier handed me back my change... Only to find.....a 1988 DDO Doubled Ear FS-101. * (My guess @ the grade when slabbed is: MS62BR)
I am not seeing it. The die markers do not match. Not only the TY. And I don't know where you got the G die marker. It looks like a plating blister. Also, the actual die markers are the die scratches above and below liberty. Yours do not match. The ear on your coin Hunting rare is ghostly and not raised. This means that it is MD or a plating issue.
The coin has to match the dies, and yours isn't close. There is too many details that are not present. Sorry to say you have struck out again.

I'm telling you that you're wrong. I can't believe you used that previous photo of mine to "prove" I was wrong. LOL. You couldn't tell it was way over exposed, on an angle, & way too blurry to even begin to compare it to the known examples at that magnification?
I’m not going to indulge you with an argument. I see you have not learned anything since your last endeavor into this variety. Send it to TPG and then let us know how that turns out….
@Hunting Rare I am with @Danomite . Send the coin off to get attributed. If it comes back as a Doubled ear I will gladly give you a like. The coin is rare, and has to be exact. I don't see an exact with your coin. Good luck
I had an older buddy who is a longtime coin shop owner verify under his high powered fancy microscope that this coin does exhibit true Class VIII tilted hub doubling, with lightly doubled hair behind the doubled ear, and even lighter doubling on certain parts of Lincoln's jacket. (He also gave me some tips on basic coin photography.) Here are some better pics, but certainly not great. I hope they bring some clarity to you. Wish you boys could see her in person. - 110% FS-101. (His guess at the grade was the exact same as mine, lol: MS62BR.) THIS COIN IS FOR SALE: 1988 DDO #3, FS-101, CLASS VIII, E.D.S. (4th example found!) MY NEXT POST ON THIS THREAD WILL BE TO UPDATE YOU GUYS ON A SOLD PRICE OR THE T.P.G. GRADE. (Thinking about sending this and a few other big boys I've been sitting on right to an auction house, but I know literally nothing about that process because I've never sold or bought through one.) OMG, you're rich! Sell them here, we've a forum for that, costs you zilch. I'll bet you'll get a lot of action. Not from me, but because I'm sure I can't afford them. Double ears have to cost a lot, probably twice more than single ears.

Hunting Rare, we have had many newer members who have tried to fire up coins for sale. They usually get partial info from someone that they use to generate great interest. If the variant is not readily visible with a 10X magnification, or large sharp photos, most will not be interested. Tilted dies are not common, but often several reference sites will tend to feature it often before other authoritative people can see and evaluated it. Even with the best microscope, an individual decision may be wrong if a photograph is not also made public for others to make and evaluate other's decisions. I wish you the best, but it is best to get many opinions from experienced collectors before trying to sell or promote finds. Jim
